A Beautiful Fall Engagement Session in the Heart of Nature
There’s something magical about fall in New York — the crisp air, the golden leaves, and the warm, low light that makes every moment feel even more special.
Tara and Eric’s engagement session at Rockland Lake State Park perfectly captured that autumn magic. Surrounded by vibrant colors and peaceful lake views, their love story unfolded naturally. This made it a joy to photograph.
As a NYC engagement photographer, I’m always inspired by locations that let couples relax. They can be themselves and simply enjoy the moment. Rockland Lake delivered that and more.
A Perfect Fall Afternoon
We met on a crisp afternoon when the park was bathed in shades of amber, gold, and deep red. Tara and Eric’s easy laughter and close connection made every photo feel genuine and effortless.
We strolled along the lakeside trails. We stopped along the way to capture the beautiful scenery and those small, candid moments that truly tell their story.
One of my favorite parts of this session was how natural everything felt. There was no pressure, just two people enjoying a beautiful day together in a place that felt peaceful and full of life.
Why Rockland Lake State Park is a Hidden Gem for Engagement Photos
