Springtime in New York City is truly special. There’s no sight quite as breathtaking as the cherry blossoms blooming in Central Park. For Julie & Michael, their engagement photoshoot was a beautiful journey that began on a more personal note – the rooftop of their NYC home. This was before blossoming into the full glory of Central Park. As a wedding photographer based in NYC, capturing these different facets of a couple’s life and love is always a joy.
Rooftop Views and City Vibes
We started their engagement session high above the city streets, on the rooftop where Julie and Michael share their everyday life. The city skyline provided a dynamic and personal backdrop as they relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company. These initial photos captured a more intimate and urban side of their love story, with iconic NYC views adding a unique touch. Their comfort and connection were immediately apparent. This set a beautiful tone for the rest of the session.

From the city views, we transitioned to the serene beauty of Central Park, just as the cherry blossoms were reaching their peak. The soft light filtering through the delicate petals created a dreamy and romantic atmosphere. Julie and Michael were so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. Their joy and excitement about their upcoming wedding radiated in every frame.
We continued our session strolling along the paths lined with blooming cherry trees. The iconic scenery of Central Park provided a stunning backdrop for their engagement photos. From the Bethesda Terrace to the Conservatory Water, every corner offered a picturesque moment waiting to be captured.
