Before their trip, Jeremy, a talented wedding photographer in Germany, found me online while searching for a photographer in NYC. We decided on a session in West Village, known for its charming streets and cozy atmosphere, followed by a final stop at Union Square.
The Photoshoot Day: A Cold Yet Heartwarming Experience
On December 13th, we finally met in West Village for our session. The air was crisp, and the temperature was freezing, but that didn’t stop Kristina & Jeremy from fully embracing the moment. Their laughter and love for each other were so radiant that it instantly warmed up the atmosphere. We enjoyed a winter photoshoot in West Village despite the cold.
For this shoot, I used my Canon R5 digital camera and the Canon EOS 1V film camera to capture both modern and timeless aesthetics. The combination of digital and film allowed me to create a beautiful blend of crisp, high-resolution shots and dreamy, nostalgic film images.
We spent about an hour walking through the charming streets of the West Village, stopping by scenic corners, rustic brownstones, and cozy alleyways. Our winter photoshoot in West Village was filled with playful giggles, loving gazes, and stolen kisses.
Warming Up with Coffee & Indoor Photography
Since the weather was quite cold, we took a short break at a local coffee shop. Over steaming cups of coffee, we continued our photoshoot indoors, capturing cozy, candid moments. The intimate café setting, with warm lighting and rustic interiors, added a romantic touch to the collection. Overall, this indoor segment complemented our winter photoshoot in West Village perfectly.
Ending the Session at Union Square
As the sun began to set, we made our way to Union Square for the final part of the shoot. The city lights started to flicker, creating a magical atmosphere.
