Fall Family Photoshoot at Central Park | Priscila & Julian

As a Central Park family photographer, I get to work in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. Last September, I had the pleasure of photographing Priscila and Julian along with their daughter and son for a relaxed family session at Bethesda Terrace. The light that afternoon was soft and golden — exactly what you hope for during an early fall shoot in the city.

We started under the iconic arches of Bethesda Terrace, where the ornate tile work and warm stone create a backdrop that feels almost like a painting. The family coordinated beautifully in soft neutrals and creams, which complemented the earthy tones of the architecture perfectly.

What I loved most about this session was how natural everyone was together. The kids were sweet, playful, and genuinely happy to be there. Priscila and Julian kept things relaxed, which made it easy to capture real moments — the kind that look effortless because they actually are.

Central Park offers so much variety in a single session. From the grand architecture of Bethesda Terrace to tree-lined paths and open lawns, every turn gives you something different. In September especially, the light filters through the trees in the most beautiful way. It’s one of my favorite spots to recommend to families looking for a timeless feel.
