A Morning of Preparation and Surprise
The day began at a charming Airbnb cabin where Chris and his groomsmen were preparing. Chris had been growing his hair and beard for quite some time. On this special day, he made a bold decision—to clean-cut his appearance as a surprise for his bride.
From there, I headed to The Garrison where Cassidy was getting ready with her bridesmaids. The excitement in the room was palpable as hair and makeup progressed. As a Hudson Valley wedding photographer, these intimate getting-ready moments are always special to document.

Working alongside videographer Mark DiConzo from KMDECO Creative, we set up the perfect first look location on The Garrison’s picturesque grounds. When Cassidy saw Chris’s dramatic new appearance, her reaction was absolutely priceless.
