As a Manhattan wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to sessions that feel like a walk through the city itself — and this engagement shoot at The Metropolitan Museum of Art was exactly that. We started inside the museum’s grand galleries, where the couple wandered hand in hand past marble sculptures, climbed the sweeping stone staircases, and paused in the soft window light overlooking Central Park. From there, we stepped out onto the iconic Met steps and crossed Fifth Avenue with yellow cabs rolling by, capturing those candid, in-between moments that make documentary-style photography so special. We ended the evening in Central Park, where golden summer light, long shadows, and quiet moments in the grass gave the session a relaxed, romantic close. If you’re planning an engagement session or wedding in NYC or Westchester, get in touch — I’d love to tell your story.
